Residentials
Once a year we run a residential for the team over the course of a weekend
in which they take part in in-depth training on conflict resolution and any
other training that the young people identify as necessary for them to be
as effective as possible in delivering their training, or which they feel
will help with their personal development, this has included religious and
race awareness workshops.
The residential is held at a different location every year outside of Slough
and is facilitated by the project leaders and external trainers, and on occasion
ex-members of the group are invited to facilitate sessions on conflict resolution
and therefore building on the theme of peer education.

From
the residential I learned many things. It was my first residential with Aik
Saath and I gained many skills and met many new people. I also got to know
the group better and the training we did helped me out a lot with the school
training. All in all it was a good experience
